After lurking for a year, my excavation day is FINALLY here! The neighbors hit lava cap two feet down and took a loooooong time to dig so we're crossing our fingers our dig goes a little easier. I'm so excited. Hopefully my thread can help people like the many threads I've looked through for inspiration, ideas and advice.

Yes it is finally looking like a pool. And a very nice looking pool! I love the design with the spa out of the swimming area. Nice Baja shelf too. Wish I had one! I love the grotto! Can't wait to watch as you continue your adventure......

Your pool looks like it will be really cool. We are currently building in Elk Grove. We are looking to be finished in the next week! Good luck with your build and I hope it goes smoothly for you.
