I am replacing my dead single speed pump with a 2 speed pump. The pool holds roughly 12,000 to 14,000 gallons. There is a Hayward 400k heater attached. Is the Pentair 340042 SuperFlo 1hp, 2 speed a good match for this setup? The pump has total hp 1.25. There are 2 skimmers, a floor suction, and 2 returns if any of that info matters.

It all sorta' matters. That pump is just fine for your pool size......how big is that filter (in gpm, if you have it)?

The best match would have been an 80-100 gpm filter so, when your old TR-60 gives out, update to a larger size. I wouldn't replace the TR-60 if it's working just fine, though.
