First pool water fill test

So my pool is almost full to the skimmer. tomorrow we will install the skimmer and the hopefully our get our pump and filter running.

I tested my water as follows

Ph between 7.4-7.6
TA 225
FC 0.2
CC 0.8
CH 130
CYA haven't added yet

I was really surprised by the FC and CC thinking that since I had not added anything yet there should be no chlorine. Does this sound right?

Should I add anything to the pool tonight even though we don't have a pump and filter hooked up yet?

If it's municipal water, rather than a well, then small amounts of chlorine are typical.

You probably want to wait until the pump is hooked up before you start adding anything, unless it takes more than a day or so.

Mine sat for about a week before I had power out to the pump due to weather. You will be fine on the water if your just going a few days before connecting everything.
