Is it possible the integrity of my pool will be compromised by the heat of a fire pit? It is about 10 feet away. I have a picture but cannot add attachment
I really depends on what you call a fire pit. If its a small camp fire where the flames stay a foot or two off the ground yea you will probably be ok unless the prevailing wind is blowing directly at your pool. Maybe its a Northeast thing cause it gets cold up here but when I have a fire most times flames get higher than my head at some point and you stand 10 feet away because its way too hot any closer to the fire. I always plan on fires being twice as big as I plan them to be to get a good margin of safety for where I choose to set them.
