Adjust Water Flow From Pool to Waterfall

The waterfall flows into the pool. I have a seperate pump that draws water from the pool to flow iver the waterfall. It works great but sounds like Multnomah Falls. You expect to see a Grizzley standing on the rocks catching salmon.

How can I adjust the water intake to produce less of a waterfall, a more ambient sound.

Terri,

Welcome to TFP.. A Great resource for all pool owning dinosaurs... :shark:

"Most" waterfalls have some sort of gating valve that can be adjusted to control the flow somewhat.

This valve could be at the equipment pad or more likely in a box somewhere near the waterfall.

If you have no valve, then the best option is to go with a variable speed pump. With a VS pump you can have your waterfall be pure Grizzly, a lazy river, just a trickle or anything in between...

Thanks for posting,
