Trying a liquid chlorine and saw KemTek at Safeway (10% sodium hypochlorite and 90 "other"). I put a bit in the pool and thought, hey, I wonder if the forum has some thoughts on whether this is a good idea or not.
If it got your FC to where you expected, its all good! The other 90% is water I believe. Was it a good price?
Just make sure its fresh by checking date codes, and never buy if they store it outside someplace in the heat or sun like Lowes and Home Depot often do.
Thanks for the quick reply! It was $8.00 for two gallons at 10%. I'm pretty new at this so I don't have a great feel for cost, but it seemed 'good enough'.
Thankfully it was just in an aisle of a grocery store, so I don't think I have to worry about sun.
