So it looks like I need to do a partial drain to lower my Cya. Being in the AZ desert I am loathe to waste 2000-3000 gallons of water. So my thought is to hook my portable pump to my garden hose and water my fruit trees and other plants. So I Goggled the question about using pool water to do this and got conflicting info. It seems that most articles that recommended against were assuming that you were using pool water to regularly water plants. Since I will only do it once I can't see how it can really hurt. Of course I'm reluctant cause I don't want to kill or stress my trees/plants.
