Just wait a few hours and test the FC again and adjust as required.

I'm going to wait a couple of hours like you say, it getting late though. What's the latests I should do the last test so I can compare with tomorrow morning?

If your water is not crystal clear, there is no reason to worry about the OCLT yet.

Water got clear enough an hour after the first 3.5gal chlorine application.

Most resent test (about 20min ago)
FC 24.5
CC 1

Adjusted FC back to 28.

Added chlorine to take it to FC 28.

Unfortunately I'm running out of reagent and also won't be home till later in the evening (back to reality, have to work to pay for the pool...).

Do they sell the reagent at the pool store? I ordered online but it will take days to get home.

Since I wont be able to maintain levels during the day, what do I do here?

Got home from work and water still nice and clear.

CC 0.5

I just took it back to shock level (28).

Will test before going to bed. Reagent will run out soon...

And for this morning's test.... I ran out of reagent after 5 drops

I ended up adding unscented household bleach (ran out of pool store chlorine also..), didn't know how much to add so I ballpark-ed it...

Reagent refill is in the mail, won't be here until Thursday.

Well, water still looks great. I'm forfed to stop SLAM as I couldn't find reagent in the nearby stores.
Hopefully it worked, if not I'm stock piling reagent for this weekend.

Ahhhhh ! I hate it when that happens. Hopefully you were in a good "FC addition" routine and can simply add about the same amounts at the same time. Hang in there.
