Clicking noise

I have a Pentair 4x 160 pump for my above ground pool. When it goes into spa mode it works fine; but makes a clicking noise. It does not make this noise when in speed 1 or 4 in pool circulation mode. I removed the outlet pipe above impeller and ran to let the water gush out and that did not expel any pebble or what ever. The noise has been there for years but now I would like to fix it.

Does the sound come from the pump end or the motor or can you tell?

The only thing I can think of is the fan blade just touching the housing.

Is the sound "clicking" or more like "a bunch of rocks in a can"?

No, not a clanking sound. I appreciate your help. I am just going to live with it. Does not effect the pump at all. Just a little noisy.
