    Above ground pool beginner

    I have had my 6000 gallon pool for about a year and always used tablets. My cya went above 100 so i draind completely and about to refill. I want to use bleach this go around how much should i add and strength?

    Welcome to TFP, the best place for no more draining due to high CYA!

    Number 1 will be ordering a good quality test kit. The only 2 that we recommend are the TF100 and the Taylor K-2006. Next you need to do some reading in pool school. Start here Pool School - ABCs of Pool Water Chemistry then here Pool School - Recommended Pool Chemicals
