SWG recommended run time and output

Hello all. I have a Hayward Aquatrol thay I just installed. Pool info in the signature.

My chlorine is running really high fc=10+ since I installed the SWG. I started at 100% output running pump 8-5 and now I'm down to 25% output. I just reduced pump run time by 2 hours. I'm wondering how long I should wait before adjusting again?

Couple of questions.

How long does it take to realize a change in chlorine output or pump runtime with CYA of 80?

Are there some estimates on what I should shoot for on runtime and chlorine output?

I would turn off the SWG for a day or two to let the FC drop. You will probably lose less than 2 ppm per day right now. Somebody made a SWG runtime calculator but I can't remember who at the moment. With cooler weather right now I would think 20-30% for 6 or 8 hours is good.
