Replace 2 in. Rigid pvc with flex pvc?

Hello,

I would like to replace my 2 in. solar panel rigid return line with flexible 2 in. pvc. There are various manufacturers - Sioux chief. Hydromaxx, flexpvc. They can handle working pressures from 60 to 100 psi.

First off, is this a good idea? Has anyone ever used flex pvc in a solar installation?

This is for a 12 panel fafco system.

Just curious, but why replace the rigid?

Whenever I see flex pvc installations I cringe...they seem more susceptible to caving in and
other damaging situations than rigid...but I could be completely wrong.

Replacing broken couplings, elbows, etc. is more troubling with rigid. With the flexible pvc I would only have 2 couplings on the roof instead of the 5 I have now.

Also, I'm not too concerned about the flexible collapsing as it too is sch. 40.
