I have an inground spa with a bench around it just about 2 ft deep (maybe a bit more). I notice that a lot of sand/gravel/dirt seems to collect on the seat all around the spa. In the summer, when I connect up the pool vacuum, I can clean it up pretty quickly. But in the wintertime, when the pool is closed that is not an option. I have one of those spa vacuums where you cover the hold on the end of the pole, but they dont seem to work very well (on my second one and it doesnt work any better than the first). Its also hard to clean up on the seat as the water doesn't seem to be deep enough for the spa vac to really work.
Is there any kind of vacuum solution that will suck up the dirt, and blow out the filtered water that really works? Or other ideas to help clean up this sand?
