I have some Leslie's Calcium hardness adjuster that I used to raise CH in my pool earlier in the summer. My spa is low on CH, can I use this? It's the kind that says to not premix and that it heats up when it's added.

I was in the foam, yes. I added some oxidizer and now my sanitizer level is a little too high. I think I'm probably good now when I let that level come down.
BUT.....Morale of the story is that I don't have to worry about CH in my hot tub??? Is that what I'm hearing?

If the water foams up with the jets running then raising CH to 120-150 can help to eliminate foaming. Otherwise, CH is not important.
Great thanks. Can I use the same stuff I put in my pool or do I need something different for my hot tub?
