Hi,
this is my first post. We have had a Jandy Aquapure 1400 for eight years now. My husband suspects that there is a fault in the circuit board. Three error codes are appearing, 172, 185, and 186. 172 and 186 say that there is a problem with the (new) flow sensor cap, the othe is a temperature error code, which is not correct, as the temp is perfect.
My husband has taken it all apart a couple of times, and it works for ten minutes or so, but then the error codes display again.
Should dl we replace the Jandy? Is there a fix for this? If we call the pool service, I am sure they will just say replace it, and charge a ton of money for labor and parts.
Or or should we consider one of the new pool chemical monitors that also uses salt? Any advice appreciated, thanks!
