Hello
I just got an 8 x 2 metal stock tank for my own personal cooler-offer pool.
I have well water I'd like to use instead of our city water, but I know it has iron, etc. in it.
What is first?
Do I take a sample of the water to a pool person?

Why don't you want to use your "city water"?

Do you plan to install a pump and filter?
If yes, the you can follow this guide,

If not, then, maybe just fill it and use it over the weekend and drain it.
