Should I even bother with the CH?

So I understand the only way to lower my CH is to drain and add new water... My tap water is hard, just tested it at 360 CH... Is it worth my trouble drain and fill up pool with water that's run through my water softener? Will that soft water have other things that I don't want in my pool? Or should I just be okay with the high CH and take care of my other numbers? Vinyl pool so I know it's not a huge deal.

Too much Calcium is a problem.

The suggested range is 250 - 400 so it's a good idea to manage your pool to stay within that range.

Just start using your softened water to top-off and keep the pool full so you slow down how quickly the CH rises.

Okay, sounds like I'll add it to my todo list. First want to get the TA down. I'm hoping that goes quicker now that I finally got some muriatic acid. That pH-minus stuff only lowered my bank account...
