First time pool owner. Please help! Pretty sure the Chlorine is too high but want to make sure I'm on the right track. 16' Round X 4' Deep Index Vinyl pool with Krystal Clear Cartridge Filter Pump 120 volt with 3,785 L/ph flow rate (1,000 gph). 14209 Litres.

What test kit are you using to get your numbers?

Your FC is not too high if those CYA numbers are correct, might be on the verge of too low See the FC/CYA Chart.

Try not to wait too long to order that kit. If your CC's really are 5, you have some algae happening even if you can't see it.
