Been fighting it since Memorial Day. Finally got the test kit here are my numbers.
FC=.4 ppm
CC=.4 ppm

TA=60 ppm

What kit did you get? You are going to need bleach lots and lots of bleach aka liquid chlorine. Have you had a chance to read some of the articles in pool school? You should start with the ABC's then read the directions for SLAM in the solving problems section defeating algae. One of the main things to understand is SLAM is a process not a one time treatment it will take some time to complete but once you are done controlling the pool will be much easier from that point on.
The FAS-DPD test can test down to .2 ppm FC but there is not much reason to be that precise stick with the .5 ppm test 10ml sample size it will save on reagents. Read the SLAM directions and come back wiht questions others will be along shortly with more suggestions.
