So I work at a hotel and this year my manager decided that we'd maintain the pool inhouse. I was elected to do so. I have noticed that the skimmer closest to our pump room runs very strong yet the other three skimmers get almost no movement at all. Our skimmers run off of one valve and the main drain runs off of a second valve and the vacuum line runs off a third valve. Is there anyway to adjust flow to the other skimmers?

I have two skimmers on one valve and the skimmer closest to the equipment has a diverter in the bottom of it. There is a gate in the diverter than can be adjusted to limit the flow from that skimmer, forcing it to take more from the other.
