thanks, all done for less than usd2k drains perfectly over the ridge, no pressure on the panels and i see about 1,5c over pool temp at the jets on a english cloudy afternoon when the sun peeks out, at 5pm and panels facing north.. sweeet
it's good when a plan comes together and works, especially as this is my first pool project, I couldn't have done it without all the excellent information that is on this forum though!
I'm just down the road from you in New Milton I have bought the same pool. Concrete base done today. Pool going up next week.Timber cladding in about 4 weeks. Which solar panels are they and how good are they? I have been looking at PoolSolar by Paramount Pools as they, apparently, work in the light as well as the sun.
hey, i'm in Bassett, top of the Avenue! swing by if you want to discuss
i'm super stoked with the panels, which is just a cheap generic brand on ebay. (as i'm renting so don't want to spend big cash) they give about 1,5c to 1,7c in direct sunlight, my 11kw electric heater only manages about 1c so very happy about the setup. i managed to raise the pool temp yesterday (sunny spells) from 20,3c to 26,5 in 6 hours with both solar and el. on, thats about half the time it used to take to raise from brrrr cold to swim time
