Can these 2 adapters mate? im wanting to use my Summer Escapes skimmer basket with an Intex sand filter using original Intex 1½ threaded lines. So im wondering if the Intex adapter can clamp onto the Summer Escapes adapter?

the skimmer adapter is made for a slip-on type hose. Too bad they dont make a conversion hose all-in-one. I need an Intex threaded on one side and slip-on type on the other. Ill probably end up cutting 2 hoses and join them

Yeah i saw that video. That is actually the ideal method but im not quite ready to hack away into the skimmer since the pool is already up.
I did find that these 2 items can be made to mate up with very little effort. Summer Escapes skimmer adapter onto an Intex threaded hose. The OD of the skimmer adapter is a perfect match to the ID of the Intex hose. I just used a worm clamp and a smear of clear RTV to help seal. I chose RTV so i can separate in the future if i ever need to
