After doing tons of research and even going so far as getting the permits to have an inground pool installed, have to start all over. Found out from the 4th contractor we had out that the septic tank lines run over the entire part of the yard where the pool was going to go, so back to the drawing board. The only other place a pool will fit is on a 3-4' slope, so considering a semi-inground installation of SunSport's Bermuda model extruded aluminum pool. Trying to figure out the best pump/filter configuration. Not sure if I should be getting an above ground or inground pump since part of the pool will be inground and part above. Also wondering if the pump needs to be self priming. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
