We are thinking of upgrading to the Quartzscape Tahoe blue, PB mentioned it has been reformulated withing the last three years to help alleviate the mottling. Also probably adding a couple bags of abalone shells. Most issues I read about are from 2013 and before. Really don't care for the pebble stuff as it's pretty rough. Any thoughts?

Any plaster can have mottling. The darker it is the more it will stand out. The skill of the crew has a lot to do with it as does a proper start up.

We just got plastered with it today. Will be posting pics in build thread later. So far looks great.
