I'm ready to start adjusting my water but I have no idea how many gallons are in this pool. My inspector when I bought the house estimated 30,000 I think. My estimates after trying a variety of methods ranged from 25,000 to 32,000. Pool store guy said 37,000. Any math wizzes out there?
I had tried that but my numbers come out drastically different depending on method used. I did it again with the picture I just made for this post:
Using this method I get 23k:
Using this method I get 29k:
... but the kicker is if I change something small like the starting depth from 3.5 feet to 4 feet, I get another 1,000 gallons in the pool (30,000 instead of 29,000).
