Maintenance on Jandy Heat Pump AE3000Ti

I am thinking about having my heat pump looked at to make sure it runs at full efficiency. I understand it uses a gas or refrigerant. Maybe time to recharge. I am not having any issues with the heater, but after 6 years, I am not sure it is heating the way it should. Has anyone had their heat pump recharged? Know of such a thing?

Yes, it is basically an air conditioner compressor, any HVAC service company can check it and add freon if needed.

I had the same model recently installed for my pool by my HVAC folks (had to talk them into it by explaining it was already plumbed and wired!) We had a Jandy heat pump prior to that which died after ten years.
Not only did they install it but the company added it to my maintenance plan with them with a discount.
