best new cartridge filter system out there?

Am looking to replace my old hayward c3000 filter setup. I have a 2 speed pump and am looking for recommendations on a good replacement for the filter setup. Want cartridge only.

This may be one viable option that looks to be a similar set-up and replacement to the old Hayward you currently have. While some other (smaller) filter systems will work, this one should be large enough to keep periodic cleanings to a minimum. From this link, you can see there are still a few larger sizes available if you think it would be necessary and within your budget. I don't see any of your pool details in your signature, but since it's a Hayward product, it should be a good match to your existing system.
