Calcium is so hard to find in the South.... but......

But, after an exhaustive search over the last few months, this just popped up. Anybody have recommendations on or experience with this product?

I have a bucket of roofmelt from them, 100% calcium chloride but in tablets instead of pellets, probably same stuff.

I agree, but if you aren't certain, by some calcium increaser. Do you need a whole lot?

Thanks for the responses, folks... I will probably need 12-15 pounds, in the spring, if it keeps raining like it has been.... I just hate going to the PS...

I bought calcium chloride driveway ice melter at ACE hardware. They will special order a 50lb bag for about $25 in the winter time. I dissolved what I needed into a 5 gallon white bucket to be certain that there was no sediment or residue or iron color or anything else. It has worked well.
