Cya is really negligable. It does have titratable alkalinity, but it is very, very insignificant. It doesn't truly play in...not in any practical sense where it effects CSI.
thanks for the help. taylor's test kit instruction book made it appear important to me because they devoted an entire page to it, including a formula and correction for pH.
