Hello, I am trying to figure out how to replace a broken jet In our in-ground gunite spa. I found the part I think I need to replace here CMP 23315-030-000 1.5 in. MPT Gunite Spa Jet44 I have never replaced a spa jet so not sure if this is all I need to replace or how to go about replacing it...

So I'm trying to learn more about how pool pumps work and different types of issues poor maintenance can cause. (My questions are solely for educational purposes) I am curious about what types of things can happen to your pool if you don't have a working pump if it was broken or not running...

My multi port handle broke off and it’s stuck in the back wash setting. It’s a Hayward pump not sure if that makes a difference. Is there a way to change this setting back to filter without the handle? It’s going to take several days to get a new one and we really need the pump back on filter.
