above ground liner

Hello! This month, we installed a new above-ground pool and discovered a 3-foot squared-off ledge (about 1/4 inch deep) along with a few sharp rocks under the pool liner. I'm concerned that this might reduce the liner's lifespan. Should I contact the installer, or is this a common issue...
