When you are typing a post, look below the white box. You have options there. One is to disable bb code and the other is to disable smilies. I'm not sure why, but you default seems to be set not to allow those. I'll look into it, but in the mean time, all you need to do is uncheck those...

I think it's pretty easy to differentiate the posts, just as you would any other area you don't follow. However, I will see about segregating the new post listings by category when we make the big upgrade! Boy this is getting to be a long list. :shock:
