    Pool heater or Hot tub?

Jim, Did you convert to swcg or swbg? I just ordered the bromine generator. I'm going to install this weekend. I would vote for the spa too. Cool nights are great to be in the spa. We're in NY. The other night it was 37°and the spa was 102°[emoji16]

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

That sounds like a board problem. I'm not a tech, I'm an electrician. But that's just my gut feeling.

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

And when you turn the pumps off with the control panel does the power turn off at the terminals?

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

Are they 2 speed pumps? What do you get white to red or black? White may not be a neutral Does your meter test low voltage? Lights may be low voltage

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

You can try this to verify if it's the motors. Turn the power off. Pull 1 of the white clips out. With the 14/3 wires. Turn the power back on Turn all the pumps on from the control panel Test the terminals on the board where you removed the clip. Make sure you test where the black and white...

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

I would start at the breaker and a volt meter. Verify you have the correct voltage. Then verify it's correct at the board where it comes in. If you are not comfortable checking the power live, then I suggest calling in a tech.

Power at board. Panel works. But nothing works. No light. No pumps. Nothing.

The best way to test the fuses is to pull them and test for continuity with a meter. You can also go across the ends of the fuses with a volt meter. It should read 0. If you see voltage, the fuse is bad. My balboa board was DOA when I first got my spa. There was a very small 125ma 250v fuse...

Has anyone seen the Pentair MagicBowl water bowl in person?

Mine are sitting on 30" piers and I wouldnt go any higher than that. It is critical that the niche be set flush to the finished cap or 1/8" below. Definitely not above

    Electrical plug

Gfci receptacle. Get the ones with the WR on them. Might be worth a shot to replace it... But if you had the issue with the pump in 3 different outlets, it may be your pump. The gfi will trip when it senses voltage leaking to ground. your pump might be letting some current through the...

Feeling slight electrical current in pool...bonding seems intact. Thoughts?

If you turned off your main breaker and still feel the current, there is no way an additional panel will fix the problem. If he says it will, tell him to do it, but if it doesn't fix it, will you waive the cost of installation for the panel. I bet he backs out of that 1

Pool landscape lighting...... photocell, timer, switch??

Your can always do both. Have a photocell or timer to turn them on and off every night And run a switch in parallel to turn them on when you want them on. I would use a timer switch. That way if you forget to turn it off, it will time out and revert back to the photocell or timer Best of both...

Feeling slight electrical current in pool...bonding seems intact. Thoughts?

If it's bare #8 around the pool, that's a bonding wire. It should attach to EVERY piece of pool equipment. take your skimmer baskets out and look if you have a bonding plate. Pic attached the curved metal would be inside the skimmer and the attached lug would be outside attached to the bare...

Feeling slight electrical current in pool...bonding seems intact. Thoughts?

Think of a battery. Simple circuit with a light bulb. Electricity wants to go back to the source. If your neighbor has a leak to ground, the electrons are trying to get back to the utility that produced them. Because of The resistance of the ground the voltage will get less and less as you get...

Feeling slight electrical current in pool...bonding seems intact. Thoughts?

If that works, then turn the main on with all the other breakers off and turn 1 breaker on at a time. Try to pin point the leak. If you are still getting the tingle with the main off, the leak can be coming from a neighbor or your utility directly

Feeling slight electrical current in pool...bonding seems intact. Thoughts?

No but voltage can be leaking from some where else. Did you try shutting your main breaker off your house off and see if the tingle is still there?

    Pool light wiring issue

You will need to bring the wires from your panel black and white to the line side of the gfi. It will be marked. Load side black to the light switch, then back to the pool light and load side white directly to the pool light.

    Pool light wiring issue

That is incorrect for a pool light. Your pool light is not protected by the gfi in that wiring diagram. It is run in parallel. To verify what I'm saying trip your gfi. Does your pool light stay on? That would not be good
