    Refinishing slide

That's awful news. Who did you get the quote from? My slide was in awful shape last year and in my research, I called marine body shops to see if they were interested in some work (With all the water in Minn., they must be fairly prevalent) After all, it's not much different than repairing a...

    Perplexed on actual capacity

What's the length, width and avg. depth of the pool? There are a number of websites that will get you to with a relatively adequate SWAG (Silly Wild A__ Guess) and you can adjust your chemicals from there. For instance, I have a 17' x 35' Grecian shaped IG pool. When I enter in the rough...

Slide no longer the eyesore of the backyard (pix)

    Winter Cover Advantages/Disadvantages

Water will not weigh down a mesh loop loc, but snow and Ice will. I just got a loop-loc mesh cover last year and my strategy was to pump out water around Thanksgiving so that any more rain that falls before the first freeze will fill the pool and reduce the stress on the spring connections once...

Is 65 GPD of Water Loss "Normal"?

I'm sure it varies based on conditions. 65 gallons may seem like a big number but it is less than 1/3 of 1% of your total volume (65 / 20k). I would not be surprised if 65 GPD is generally accurate.
