    Aquabot X4 power supply dead

No fuse. There is a burnt chip on the motherboard. :(

    Warranty Maytronics

I've emailed Marina three times and also called and left a message which was never returned. I think TFP needs to stop recommending them to folks who come through here with questions. Service and responsiveness are no longer their forte.

    Best brushing robot?

Is there one robot that brushes the best? I have a 20x40 pool with pebble sheen surface, but it's a typical screened in florida pool so I do not have issues with leaves and heavy debris. I would like a robot that could help me with brushing the pool. I've had an aquabot X4 robot for the past...

    Aquabot X4 power supply dead

Anyone have any suggestions or have heard of common power supply problem with this robot. At just under 5 years, I heard a pop from within my power supply when I plugged in and the power supply is now dead. A shame because the robot works fine. Replacement power supplies online are $400! I...

    Doheney discovery S200 trouble

$500 to repair a $699 robot 5 months out of warranty? I would move on to a different brand.

    I love my robot

I used to dread spring when all the trees surrounding my pool would bloom and drop pollen into the water. Even with a screen enclosure, my pool would get filled with pollen from the 14 oak trees in my back yard. My in floor cleaning system just blew the fine pollen around and never really...

As if we didn't have enough reasons not to buy Aquabot...

Wow! Glad you and your store are in one piece. I still love my aquabot X4. Has worked flawlessly and is the best pool accessory I've purchased in 22 years of pool ownership.

Robot - Best Money I’ve Spent

Greetings from across the bay. I couldn't agree more. I throw my robot in the pool twice a week and let it do it's thing. Cleans and brushes my pool quietly and effectively. I love my robot. Wish I had gotten one sooner.

OK to keep robotic cleaner in pool?

I agree with thebombardier. I take my robot out of the pool when done with the cleaning cycle. I then hose off the robot and the cable with fresh water in an effort to prevent degradation from the bleach in my pool water. Though it makes sense that the manufacturers have designed these robots...

    Automatic Pool Cleaner Under $550

I've been very pleased with my Aquabot X4. Got it with the caddy and 3 year warranty for $600. Just above your limit but might be worth considering. It does a great job with my pool which is just a bit larger than yours.

Narrowed my (AGP) robots to these 2 - any thoughts?

I can understand that! Easy to get carried away when looking at these robots. I just don't understand what those rubber flaps on the bottom of the breeze are supposed to do. I wanted active brushing and easy to clean filter baskets.

Narrowed my (AGP) robots to these 2 - any thoughts?

Have you considered the Aquabot X4? It is similar to the breeze you listed but has an active brush and a longer cord. I've been very pleased with mine. It also has two top loading filter baskets which are very easy to pop out and clean. My unit came with a caddy and has a 3 year warranty...

    Problem with Polaris Caretaker

This problem can be easily fixed with a valve rebuild kit. I have to rebuild mine every 3-5 years. Fortunately, I have a lifetime warranty.

Pool Rover Junior review-aka Lil Kim

Kim, it's great to see you enjoying your new robot. The price of that unit is incredible! I have a few observations as a new owner of the big brother of your robot cleaner. I own an Aquabot X4. Granted my cleaner is twice the price of your unit ($600), but they did address some of the flaws...

    Dolphin s200 and Pollen?

My Aquabot X4 picks up the pollen in my pool very nicely. The filters have a very fine mesh which traps the pollen easily. I cannot comment about the S200.

Robot Newbie - What do you recommend?

I have an Aquabot X4 in my similarly sized pool. I have been very pleased with this unit. Easy to use, not too heavy and the filter baskets are very easy to remove and clean. Really does a nice job picking up debris. Certainly worth consideration. Came with a caddy and 3 year warranty at a...

Zodiac G3 vs mx6 vs hayward aquanaut 200

Return and get a robot. Why fuss with hoses, etc...? Dump the robot in the pool and take it out a few hours later. Rinse the filter boxes and you're good. Bought mine for $600 with a 3 year warranty and a caddy.

Robotic cleaner with an enclosed pool worth it?

I'm across the bay here in Clearwater. My pool is screened in but significantly larger than your pool. While I don't get a ton of leaves in my pool, I do get debris and pollen that filters down through my screen along with some leaves from plants inside my enclosure. I use my robot twice a...

Another robot rec request: PebbleTec, rounded walls/steps

I've been pleased with my Aquabot X4. I have a large, curvy pool with pebble sheen and a similar spillover spa. Mine seems to climb the wall all over my large pool. I've only had mine a few months, so time will tell how it works during the upcoming swim season. I also have a screened in...

    Aquabot X4

New member here but long time pool owner in Florida. My pool is screened in so I've been reluctant to purchase a cleaner over the years. I finally took the plunge and purchased an Aquabot X4 three week ago. These don't seem to get much love or discussion here, so I thought I would write of...
