Greetings from across the bay. I couldn't agree more. I throw my robot in the pool twice a week and let it do it's thing. Cleans and brushes my pool quietly and effectively. I love my robot. Wish I had gotten one sooner.

I agree with thebombardier. I take my robot out of the pool when done with the cleaning cycle. I then hose off the robot and the cable with fresh water in an effort to prevent degradation from the bleach in my pool water. Though it makes sense that the manufacturers have designed these robots...

I've been very pleased with my Aquabot X4. Got it with the caddy and 3 year warranty for $600. Just above your limit but might be worth considering. It does a great job with my pool which is just a bit larger than yours.

I can understand that! Easy to get carried away when looking at these robots. I just don't understand what those rubber flaps on the bottom of the breeze are supposed to do. I wanted active brushing and easy to clean filter baskets.

Have you considered the Aquabot X4? It is similar to the breeze you listed but has an active brush and a longer cord. I've been very pleased with mine. It also has two top loading filter baskets which are very easy to pop out and clean. My unit came with a caddy and has a 3 year warranty...

This problem can be easily fixed with a valve rebuild kit. I have to rebuild mine every 3-5 years. Fortunately, I have a lifetime warranty.

My Aquabot X4 picks up the pollen in my pool very nicely. The filters have a very fine mesh which traps the pollen easily. I cannot comment about the S200.

Return and get a robot. Why fuss with hoses, etc...? Dump the robot in the pool and take it out a few hours later. Rinse the filter boxes and you're good. Bought mine for $600 with a 3 year warranty and a caddy.
