Dolphin Active 20 “Brain Transplant” from Active 30?

The Active 20 would do short repetetitive stuttering back and forths. Hardly any long runs, stuck on the drain more ofter, not move much sideways when it did climb the wall. I was being facetious on the brain, but what part is it that imparts its random movement and what causes it to change...

I may have “fixed” my Maytronics Active 20.

Usually I gently set the unit in the pool. But being pretty disgusted with its stupidity (not even random) I gave it a good arching toss into the pool. The thing seems to behave like my old Active 30 now so far. Did I dislodge some orientation mechanism for the better?

Changing brushes and tracks on S300

How often does one usually change brushes or tracks on a dolphin S300 and what does one look for? I probably run it 3-5 times for 2 hrs a week and its . I am not sure I am getting the same level of brushing I used to get and its a little over a year old.

How will the Dolphin robots handle these?

I am on the fence on whether to get a robotic cleaner or not. Our pool is screened in so we don't get too much stuff. But I’m a bit OCD and and brushing is my least favorite part of pool maintenance. In addition to brushing, every once in a while, I stir things up with our swim jets and...
