Doesn't your cord have that dark blue anti-twist sleeve on it towards the plug end? Mine has one that revolves around the cord - it helps but does not prevent that twisting all the way. I usually end up doing just as dmanb2b suggested above

The Wahoo is actually by Zodiac product - also referred to as an Aquabug. It is a standard suction side cleaner Besides price, usually IG cleaners are designed to climb walls and work with deep end slopes. Most AG cleaners are designed to work on flat bottoms - they also cost much less.

Does the Dolphin climb walls? I don't know how a cleaner that climbs/crawls walls would work on an AG pool - if wall crawlers wouldn't damage or malfunction in an AG, then go to town!

We have one of those little hand held stick type battery op pool vacs. Dang it is quick and convenient for spot cleaning - no hoses or cords to deal with

Pool Rover does not climb walls

Glad you like your PRJ - they DO rock!!! We love ours too. I would be so interested to hear about people getting their add/on too.

I guess you should look at IG pool cleaners but they are rarely "cheap" either, especially a cleaner that crawls the walls.

I would suggest you fiddle around with the settings on the controller and the peg on the PRJ itself. I can get mine to go all the way from one end to the other on my 33' long pool by getting the settings just right although I think it works so much better if it does shorter circuits all the way...
