    Some have suggested reversing the flow of water (turn off pump and place water hose at return, turn on water hose). See if you can dislodge "problem". Another idea would be to use a "fishing tape" commonly used for pulling electrical wire as a "snake".

    If the SWG is working I wouldn't switch to liquid chlorine....It does the job of you hauling bottles of bleach.

    Isn't color completely subjective? Lighter will be cooler. But past that it's not really something that someone can suggest on given tastes differ rather strongly.
