    New Here! Neglected Pool

That sounds like a lot, but you also said in the original post that there is debris at the bottom. Frankly, you have no idea until your kit arrives, because the strips are more or less worthless. For 28k gallons of water your best bet is to get as much debris out of the pool as you can and add...

    New Here! Neglected Pool

The TF-100 kit is soooooo worth it. The initial price tag is only slightly off-putting, but it will save you time, money, and aggravation in the long run.

At 15,000 gallons and assuming your pool is the color of your avatar, it wouldn't be a horrible idea to add a jug of chlorine per night until your kit arrives.

Greetings from down Route 2!! I used to live in Manchester. Though I didn't have a pool back then. The one thing I can tell you as a Baquacil alum and convert is that test strips are inaccurate at best. If you want to clear up your pool, you'll get a proper kit and test it on your own (See the...

    Hello From MN

Welcome!! Bemidji?!?!? My wife is from Mahnomen. I know they are about an hour apart, but up there, everything is about an hour apart...:p Anyhow, your first step is to get yourself a quality test kit (See link in my signature). For most issues, this is the jumping off point. While you wait...
