    Yeah it's only really seen when the water line drops so not a huge deal, but would love to figure out a fix, maybe add tiles to the waterline, ever seen that on fiberglass?

    Sanding does seem to help I used 2000 grit but not sure how to get shiney again the part that gets dulled above the waterline

    This is kinda similar but only above the waterline, and if it is wet it disappears until dry again

    Three year old pool developing white stain which seems to be possibly on the entire pool but only seen when the waterline drops. I have tried magic eraser, compound, and muriatic acid. None of them seem to do anything at all. It's hard to tell if this is like a calcium deposit or possibly etched...

    I am having the same issue, but they do come off with magic eraser, is there any way to get the metal out of the water off that is the cause

    I've had spots like this from time to time in my fiberglass pool (although smaller) seems to be from some type of metal laying in one spot. I've also had a bunch of acorn and leave staining and so far a magic eraser has completely removed all of them.

    Yeah I think what you're saying it's it was cut low, so water level needs to be low to not be above the skimmer. On my second fiberglass I bought my own skimmer and had them install it. I asked for it to be cut at the top but they wouldn't do it and said it would void warranty as the fiberglass...
