    Thanks for the help! Appreciate this forum. Pool guy scoffed at me when I stopped by and told him I was moving to liquid chlorine. He said..."oh well you will have really high total dissolved solids". Is that something to worry about or just their propaganda?

    Replaced 40% of my water. Calculated by gpm and time it was filling. Here are my readings now FC 2 (added 1qt bleach) PH 7.5 TA 90 CH 100 (added 15lbs hardner) CYA 60

    How long would I run this exchange? My pool has an overflow drain, so would I still need a pump?

    Decided to stop having water tested and learn how to do it. Got the Taylor Tf-100 and took my first test. I plan on moving to liquid chlorine and away from tablets. My CYA is too high and I'm hesitant to drain water. Here are results of first test. Any advice? FC 6 TA 110 CYA 85 PH 7.5 CH 325
