    Question on Stenner system placement

I am from the school of thought if it's made by man it can and will break at some time. Say you buried your conduit and its 40' long with several bends. If you have room pull two. If and when you have a problem just switch to the other tube. No room for two pull the tube with a nylon pull sting...

    Question on Stenner system placement

It would not be the pump that would fail. The pump sees no liquid. What would fail would be the tube between the rollers that really should be changed out yearly anyway. You may have an issue but your millage may vary. What Lockwell was getting at is once the pump turns off normally you would...

    Question on Stenner system placement

I don't know what the head pressure would be but with the small tubing I would not think it would be much. I would just make sure you have a quality check valve at your injection site above the stenner. If the tubing failed you don't want to siphon your pool into your basement. Who are you...

    Liquidator Function

I would say your pool is a little too big. Also your feed rate will change. As your filter pressure goes up the suction will go down. The next best thing other than a SWCG would be a stenner pump. That will give you a set feed everyday. Sent from my VS870 4G using Tapatalk

    Sterner Pump

No from the picture the OP had that part will stay. He is removing the nature 2 and want's to add a tee. From the picture the male side is molded into the unit on both sides, that will be the part of the union he will need.

    Sterner Pump

Those are pool specific unions. They are odd ball size and you will need two male side unions. I don't think you can find them individual so your only going to use half. It looks too close to your tee on the left. I think your only real option is two couplings, tee, and two unions of standard...

    Sterner Pump

I take it the nature 2 is after your filter. If the two unions face the same direction you will have to get two and only use one side. If they are opposite then you will only need one union. The female side would go to one and the male to the other side. I don't know of a place that has just one...

    Stenner/Bleach freeze protection

Well it's that time of year when most people close there pools. We do not down here in Southeast Texas. It really does not get "that" cold for an extended period of time but with all the news going on I have to ask. When should I worry about my stenner pump. I can run the pool pump to keep water...

    Metchlor chlorinator?

Very little talk on here about it. If I remember I could only find one or two that had it and no long time reports. It is vacuum drawn so it will always change. Several years ago I built one and it really did not work. I had a plastomatic solenoid laying around. The setup was the same as the...

    Homemade liquid chlorinator

Anything is possible. With an AGP you would have to have to be up on a deck or something. UV type irrigation tube would be your best bet. Also most solenoids are wet valves "the cheaper ones" To stand up to Sodium Hypo you really need a dry solenoid like a plast-o-matic true blue but they run...

Best Year of pool ownership, thanks to the Liquidator!

That's not bad for your size pool. Looks to be about 13ppm a week with a little less than 2ppm a day. I just can't find anything in my area above 10%. Did you run into any of the common problems? Bubbles in the tubes, white stuff, things like that.
