My SJ 45 lasted about 6 or 7 years, I had to run my pump longer to keep the same FC level.. When your FC starts dropping and you have to run longer is your answer.. :)

Both will work.. You want to flip the blue to the other side.. You want the IC60 on the side with the water rising now going down... You really want the SWG the last thing but I do not think it will mess with the booster pump, if you think it will mess with the booster pump use the other...

I would tell you to go even bigger.. For 200 or 400 more you can get the RJ 45 or the RJ60... The RJ 60 can give you 3 times the chlorine for 400 dollars more... You would just run it lower and it will last longer... I jus went with the RJ 60 on my 15k pool and I run it 4 hours at 20% right...

You can hook it up but I would not start it up till the water is 60 degrees or so.. Most SWG will start working around 60 degrees.. :)

Your pump is wired 220 always on.. You want to connect your SWG to a timer so it can turn on and off when you want.. If you connect it to the pump it will be on 24/7... It looks like you have a pressure side pump with a timer?? You would basically need the same exact setup for the SWG.. :)

You want to run your pump long enough to keep the correct amount of chlorine in the pool.. It may be 4 hours or 8 hours... set it at 6 hours and see if it keeps FC at if it does not run longer and if it does run shorter :)

Get yourself a Circupool 45k to 60k SWG, all you need to do is turn power on and off.. The goldline should be able to do that... You can also connect the SWG power directly to the power on your single speed pump... If you are staying with single speed I would get the RJ60 so you do not need...

I would recommend a change to VS pump also.. The IC60 and just about all Pentair is great, my first pump and filter were Pentair.. I went to a V Green pump when I changed my motor for VS and I went Circupool for the DIY warranty of 7 years... The RJ60 is cheaper than the IC60 and outputs more...

I would recommend CYA at 80 and FC at 7.. No ORP and simple timers work the best.. You can easily test a high FC SWG pool every 2 weeks and be just fine... That is the main reason I went SWG.. I can leave for a month and I know for a fact it will be just fine... :)

That is one reason I really love the Circupool cells, I can see inside them.. I never cleaned my SJ 45 in 7 years.. :)

Australia has really great SWG's.. They embraced them long ago when here in the US it is a new thing... As far as what system is the best I am not sure...

And change your CYA to recommended levels for SWG.. You can easily take your FC to SLAM levels if you want, I did when I opened.. :)
