Help with (seemingly extra) liner above water line?

You know it just occurred to me that all the holes that were cut for your returns, etc. won't line back up when you reset the liner if that was in fact the problem. You're most likely going to need a new liner. Have them come back out and re-measure it to make sure they have that right. Maybe...

Help with (seemingly extra) liner above water line?

I think you nailed it earlier. It either wasn't laid down right or it was mis-cut. The liners stretch an amazing amount so it's quite possible the bottom is fitting snug even though you have all the slack above it. Unfortunately you're looking at either living with it or draining the pool and...

    Hard Piping an Intex AGP

Don't sweat the turbulence - unless you're cavitating at the pump. I can't imagine the effect on efficiency would be significant. On the return side you care about turbulence pre SWCG but there are plenty of installs on this site where there isn't the recommended straight section of pipe before...

    Hard Piping an Intex AGP

Are those L's (90 degree fittings) true PVC Schedule 40? They look more like Drain/Wast/Vent fittings are are not designed to be under pressure...I can't tell if the 45s are the same or not.

What do you think the cause is?

Help- befor i put in new liner

I use Diazinon (sp?) powder and it is quite effective. The ants take it back and it kills the queen. I'm not aware of any non toxic ant killer that works. Of course you'll only be abe to spread this under the pool once and can repeat regularly around the pool but that may not be close enough...

    Fafco Question

The bigger headers provide a higher flow rate...and maybe some other things too. It seems unlikely that this alone would double the efficiency of the panel.

On-Ground Deck Pool dug into slope

Nice work :) I'd heard of an on ground pool but never seen one - very interesting. Out of curiosity, are you going to continue building up the retaining wall? There appears to be enough slope there to need it maybe? Also did you put in any drainage below or around the uphill side of the...
