Yeah - Aldi's has already raised their price on the 96 ouncers to $1.09 from $.99 cents. I would guess the price of the plastic jugs and the freight to get it to stores accounts for the increase. Very :rant: at the big oil companies.

Too cold, but the water is crystal clear. Maybe next week or two. Indy 500 watching today was about it.

If you are very careful not to get any in the water - there is a product called Krud Kutter. I buy it at Lowe's in the pressure washer section. ALWAYS rinse with another sponge from a clean pail of water. Works great and I haven't encountered any problems with its use. Hope this helps.

If you have a pressure gauge with a bleeder for clearing air from the system, you may want to see if there is any pressure built up by bleeding it. There may be enough latent pressure to make it hard to break free. Just a thought.

Whoa - too many leaves for year round operation. It's a situation here. Would like to close after the threat of algae, but that's after the leaves have started falling in NW Arkansas. I have a mesh cover (drats) that lets just about everything in except leaves. So, spring is not so much fun...

Glad it worked for you. I keep a knee high panty hose filled with a cup or two of coffee beans in the garbage can out in the garage. I just tie it off to the handles of the can, let it hang inside - does the trick for bags that sit for a few days waiting on trash day.

Don't know if this would work or not - but - you might try sprinkling unused coffee grounds around inside. A few years ago, the daughter's boyfriend left some opened squid (fish bait) in the trunk of her car while on a trip to Destin. WOW! His mom suggested the coffee idea - and be danged if...
