    Am I reading chlorine right?

Yes, if you leave it sitting it will turn pink again. Results are during active testing

Filter clog after a couple hours

Don't ever run de filter without de, it'll mess up grids/fingers then you have to replace that expensive part.

    SLAM confusion

No not indefinitely. Once Slam has killed it all you won't see any more dead stuff. That's why it's an exit criteria. It will go away even if it doesn't seem like it. You could vac it out but I just ran my robot pretty much all the time plus brushed it up into water

    SLAM confusion

Rationale: if you're seeing dead stuff still means live stuff still being killed.

    SLAM confusion

Yup until it's all gone! Trust me on this one it's very easy to ignore that part & convince yourself it's fine but its not. Just keep it going until it's all gone brush it up so filter can catch it. It should poof and make the water look bad. Then it's just waiting on filter to snag it

    Long SLAM process

That depends on when the last test the night before was. When I do OCLT's I'm very time sensitive so my final test will be at like 8:30pm zero sun & next morning 4:30am-5am no sun.

Needing guidance on going without trichlor but maintaining chlorine

You will def need more CYA as summer moves along. With my swg, here in AZ im already pushing 80 cya and before my swg I rode at least 70 but made sure I was adding LC multiple times a day usually a run hot dose in AM & another in PM

    SLAM Help

I will say with my own slam that my cloudy water didn't start really clearing until I was hot swapping 2 sets of filters multiple times per day. Once it cleared & I passed OCLT I did a soak on one set of filters & have left those in since with no problems now.

    I was a bad girl!

Let me just say I am so impressed with circupool at this point. They were super quick with everything. They also covered my system under warranty even though really nothing about it was their fault. I'm on year 3 of warranty so parts at 40% off. They essentially gave me a new control panel...

    SLAM and white haze

For my OCLT's, I test at 8pm and add LC then retest at 8:30pm and use that number then because I'm always up early I test in AM between 4:30-5:30am

    Please help clear my pool

First thing is you need to get a good test kit. I would recommend a tf-pro with Slam add on from tftestkits.net Check out these too: And use Sorry @PoolStored we were typing same time

    Long SLAM process

I think you're at the tail end. Just keep testing, adding, brushing as much as you can and I promise it will end lol I did OCLT 3 times before passing.
