22, In general, the pump runs faster when in the Spa mode and the basket should be full. It could be you have the pump set up to run too slowly in the Spa mode, or you have an air leak on the Spa intake line. I 'assume' that in the Pool mode the basket is full or close to it.. Thanks, Jim R.

B, Thanks for the pics.. The whole purpose for the check valve marked "Heater Return" is to prevent the spa from draining down when the pump is off. The fact that you can shut off the manual Jandy valve and "fix' the problem proves that the water has to be passing through the check valve...
