    Thanks for your help. I am researching the vacuum breaker thing. i ran it overnight and it shut off around 4am and the caving In did not happen this time. Definitely appears to also be heat related. Did a backwash this morning, but gauge only went from 20 to 10 psi after backwash and pump...

    Ok so I just got the courage to turn it back on lol. And it returned to original shape. Yay I guess? Pentair so far giving me the run around. Builder wants no part in it. What to do now? See more pics attached.

    I was under the impression the check valve was needed to keep the salt/chlorine from going back into the heater. Also this happened the first time right after build. Which was before the heater/check valve was installed. Heater check valve installed 2 months ago.

    Yes there is one between heater and filter.

    No other feature. I did add some water yesterday 1 hose for maybe 3 hours that about it that was out of normal.

    I contacted pentair. Hopefully they will be cool since I also have the intellichlor and superflo pump. Surprised this is so rare. Not a good sign!

    I have a vinyl pool. Been like this only yesterday. Been running pump twice a day with no issues. Good water flow before as well.

    Had the pool for 2 years. It happened at the very beginning after build, was replaced, and just again just now. Filter is about 4-5 feet above water up a slope and on back of house. Pressure gauge shows 20 but looks like its not working. Been too afraid to run it again after I noticed...
