    yes, I drained it. If it is the filter, I was just hoping that all the sand froze in a clump over the winter and has stayed clumped together since then. I'll try the recirculation and report back!!

    I have the same problem (same pump and heater) - My first thought is that the filter is too small and can't flow fast enough, but I'm waiting for the experts to chime in. What filter do you have?

    My heater (hayward H series - GAS) will log a low flow error on anything under 92% pump run speed. This seems very high to me, was hoping to have the heater kit on at more like 60%. Is my filter too small and limiting flow to the heater? I can deal with it, if this is the situation, just wish...

    Ladder parts - yes!! Thanks!! I still have one extra plug 5, 6, 7......guess i'll see where the water comes out once the pump i primed...i really only see 2 plug holes, not 4.
