Thank you! I have contacted the seller and they are processing the warranty claims with Hayward. I’m just baffled how fast this pump went bad that it didn’t even survive 1 pool season.

The High Speed worked well since installing it. I used high speed all the time when adding chems and backwashing. The pump is hard wired with a timer and there is a switch that came with it for low speed, off, and high speed settings.

Update: I sent the photo to the seller. Since it looks like a factory defect, they are sending me a replacement and also a return label to send back the defective valve.

Hi, new member here. We are preparing to install a new filter & multi-port valve. Can anyone please help verify if this is normal or a defect on the multiport valve? There are 3 tiny gaps on the connection between the valve and the pvc elbow fitting. Thanks!
